We will be exploring the beautiful music of one of Stephen Sondheim's most popular musicals. Into the Woods is a musical with music and lyrics by Stephen Sondheim, and a book by James Lapine. The musical intertwines the plots of several Brothers Grimm fairy tales, exploring the consequences of the characters' wishes and quests. Winner of 3 Tony awards including Best Score and Book.

Looking for strong singer/actors who are able to not only tell story through song, but also handle the complexities of Sondheim's music.

Note: Talent submitting for songs sung by The Baker's Wife should be comfortable with two stage kisses: one with Cinderella's Prince (Any Moment/Moments in the Woods), and one with The Baker (It Takes Two). Same goes with submitting for songs sung by The Baker (It Takes Two). These moments need only be rehearsed once during tech and then performed.

All actors must be fully vaccinated and will test for Covid-19 throughout rehearsals and the performance.
