David, a local police officer, finds himself at the mercy of a masked bank robber's gun after an altercation that lands him begging for his life. After the bank robber tosses his weapon, he escapes in a plate-less, red vintage sports car, leaving David unable to identify the car by anything other than its looks. David gets reprimanded by his chief who threatens his job for allowing a criminal to get away. His ego has been bruised, and now David is determined to find this man. He retraces his steps at the scene of the crime later that night, eventually landing him at the local diner, which brings him answers to his questions that he was never expecting.

A local police officer, a rookie in his mid-late twenties. David is a kind-hearted person, however, he can be very hardheaded and stubborn when it comes to proving his capabilities. Sometimes these characteristics serve him well, sometimes (in the case of the story), they don't. David has a past of losing people close to him, which has caused him to grow kind of a hard outer shell. After being the one to let the bank robber get away, David gets threatened to be fired or transferred to a lower department (not active duty). This sparks a fire inside of him, making him even more determined to prove himself capable of catching this criminal. Because he has such honed-in tunnel vision on finding this man, the rest of the world around him becomes blurry and irrelevant. When David finds himself at the local diner, of which he is a regular customer at, he sees the getaway vehicle that was at the scene of the bank robbery. Which is why when he thinks he has found one small hint that could give him a reason to suspect Jim is his guy, nothing can stop him from pursuing that lead.

Role # 2 - Jim Submit yourself for this role

is a newly hired waiter/busboy at the local diner that David is a regular at. David has no familiarity with Jim like he does with Jesse, the host, so David is extra aware of Jim's actions and whereabouts. Jim is a classic car thief, he is the one who stole the getaway vehicle that Jesse used to rob the bank. When David is so sure that Jim was the car thief, this makes Jim on-guard to defend himself, thinking that David is suspicious of him being the car thief. Jim knows nothing about the bank robbery. He knows Jesse borrowed the stolen vehicle, but he does not know what he used it for. Jim is a friendly guy, sometimes cocky and arrogant, but treats his customers with respect. Because Jim's "interests" are classic cars, his conversations with his dining customers often involve things surrounding that topic. He often gets flustered when he is confronted about something, but tries to play it cool or push the blame onto someone else, which is why when David accuses him of being the bank robber and mentions the car, he is quick to give notice to the fact that Jesse borrowed his car recently. Blame is shifted.

Role # 3 - Jesse Submit yourself for this role
Seeking 1 talent(s) for this role
is the bank robber. He is also the host at the local diner. Just like Jim, he also in his early-mid twenties. Since David is a regular guest, he and Jesse are good friends. Another reason why David is so quick to assume that Jim is the suspicious party, not his friend, Jesse. While David is at the local diner (at an unusual time of night), Jesse pokes and prods David for any information that David might have on the elusive bank robber, to try and figure out how much David knows. Jesse is able to play these questions off as a friend, because he is. But his ulterior motive is that he needs to know how much he has gotten away with thus far, and when he needs to plan his escape. Jesse is able to act normal and friendly, allowing David to remain without suspicion that it was actually he who robbed the bank and tackled him to the ground. Jesse knew that Jim often swipes classic cars and takes their license plates off, so this was a perfect opportunity for him to be able to rob the bank with a nearly-unidentifiable vehicle. David was left alive after the altercation with the "bank robber" because Jesse knew David, he did not have the heart to shoot his very own friend.
