This film is a short film inspired by the book series "Divergent" by Veronica Roth. The film takes place in the same universe as the Divergent series, but does not include any of the characters from the series.

Rayna had a plan. She and her best friend Emery would both choose to transfer to Dauntless, the faction known for bravery, at the choosing ceremony. But Emery follows his own heart and finds himself a life in Erudite, and the plan is destroyed. Rayna can either accept his decision and learn to embrace the life she thought she always wanted, or chase after Emery and the life she used to hate.
