Veronica Sawyer is frustrated with the hellish competitive social hierarchy at Westerburg High School, where nerds and underclassmen are pushed around by brutish, idiot jocks like Ram Sweeney and Kurt Kelly. After trying to defend her best friend, the cheerful, overweight Martha Dunnstock (cruelly renamed "Martha Dumptruck" by the uncreative Kurt), Veronica longs for the days of elementary school when life was simple and everyone was friends. She wishes desperately to be above the drama, but there is only one elite clique who can do that: the Heathers, the three most beautiful, most popular girls in school. They are the weak-willed head cheerleader Heather McNamara; the bulimic, personality-lacking yearbook committee chair Heather Duke; and the "mythic bitch queen" of the school, Heather Chandler.

Role # 1 - Veronica Sawyer Submit yourself for this role
Seeking 1 talent(s) for this role
A senior at Westerberg High and she is tired of being low in the social pecking order. Veronica should be extremely relatable, as she carries the audience through the entire show and they must care about her. Should have an excellent voice and a wide range of acting skills, and especially great comedic timing.

Role # 2 - Jason Dean (J.D) Submit yourself for this role
Seeking 1 talent(s) for this role
Is new to Westerberg High. J.D. is both a heartthrob and a villain: he’s attractive, funny, and disarmingly honest about his high school experience, but unravels into a dangerous wild card as the show progresses. J. D. should be a strong actor and tenor able to portray conflicting layers, initially charming both Veronica and the audience, making his degeneration later in the show even more shocking.

Gender: Male
Age: from 18 to 60
Ethnicity: Any -

Role # 3 - Heather Chandler Submit yourself for this role
Seeking 1 talent(s) for this role

Role # 5 - Heather Mcnamara Submit yourself for this role
Seeking 1 talent(s) for this role
Head cheerleader, completes the Heathers triumvirate. While she begins the show as one of the all-powerful Heathers, she later voices her self-doubt and troubles. Role # 6 - Martha Dunnstock Submit yourself for this role
Seeking 1 talent(s) for this role
Should be everything the Heathers are not: awkward, shy, and (most importantly) kind. Martha is a genuinely good person who doesn’t deserve the harsh treatment she receives from the other students. Several characters explicitly mock Martha for her weight. Whether the actor physically fits this description or not, her clothes, posture and performance can highlight her low social standing. Martha sings a powerhouse ballad in the second act. The audience should root for this character.
